Hey guys, I just come back from Lake Tahoe and I had so much fun. I'll put up photos soon but, for now I'll explain the thrills of my vacation.
1. While I was on the boat with my mom and dad, I found an eagle (the father eagle) Perching on the Mother Eagle's nest (Photo coming soon)
2. On thursday, our tradition is go to Harrahs for the Buffet and of course the arcade (not the lame ticket giving ones!).
3. I can't think of others |
|
I'm going to Lake Tahoe! So I better bring my portables (e.g. Laptop (with games), Nintendo DS (and DS games that I have), Camera, and Zune), dvds, clothes, swimming trunks, and other gears of vacation.
Once I come back at August 8th, I'll post some photos (that I took)Current Mood: excited

| » Asteroids Movie?!?!?!?!?!??! |
I've found the most ridiculous idea I've ever read: http://arstechnica.com/gaming/news/2009/07/universal-plans-to-bring-asteroids-to-theaters.ars Universal to bring Asteroids to theaters from the site- Asteroids, the arcade game from the 1970s, is officially in development as a movie. Yup, you read that right. By Michael Thompson | Last updated July 2, 2009 10:50 AM CT Once again, news has arrived from the land of Hollywood that another major video game franchise is being adapted for the silver screen. Last week, it was announced that Uncharted would get a celluloid makeover; this week, it's a much older franchise that's being adapted. It turns out that Asteroids, the Atari game from 1979 (thus making it older than many in the current generation of gamers) will be coming to theaters sometime in the future. Astonishingly, not only is Asteroids being made into a movie, but there was an actual bidding war between four major studios for the rights. Universal Studios has emerged the winner. As a result, Matthew Lopez is set to write the script and it will be produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura. Lopez has written the screenplays for the recent Disney films Escape to Witch Mountain and Bedtime Stories, as well as for the upcoming The Sorcerer's Apprentice. Meanwhile, di Bonaventura's latest ventures include Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and the soon-to-be-released G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. While there are some big Hollywood players involved with this project, the inherent problem with making a movie out of Asteroids is that it doesn't have a plot, or characters, just a triangular spaceship blowing up some oddly-shaped polygons. On the other hand, one could look at this with the perspective that it's pretty much impossible to screw up the game's story. However, this news implies something much larger and much more unsettling: Hollywood may officially be out of original movie ideas.
My comment- Sooo... yeah... Asteroids Movie= the most ridiculous idea ever!!! And what's next... Adventure: The Movie?!?! <=that was just a joke

| » Happy Birthday Transformers! |
Today's the 25th Anniversary of Transformers! Someday I'm gonna preorder the 25th anniversary of Transformers G1 season 1 DVD! What are your favorite memories of Transformers (starting with G1)?
I can't think of any good memories of G1 (but it's still awesome!) other than the awesomeness of Autobot PowerGlide. I was born in 1989, the first thing that I got (like in 1993?) TF related was a G2 Optimus Prime figure, that has an awesome black trailer with sound buttons (especially the one that make Optimus Prime says "I am Optimus Prime!").

Click here for the offical site. (I'm too excited to see this in theaters) I don't care what you say about the movie, If you're gonna say it's sucks, don't comment, keep the negative thoughts of the movie to yourself. I know that Michael Bay butchered the Transformers character designs (e.g. Megatron). I may of grew up with Transformers G1 but still, keep those negative thoughts of yours, about the movie, to yourself.
